Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, hosts of the Oscars

Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek will be among the stars at the awards ceremony Oscar next sunday.

The Hollywood Academy revealed the names of both actors in a statement.

The Spanish actor and the Mexican actress were joined by other famous faces such as those from Halle Bailey, Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Chastain, John Cho, Andrew Garfield, Hugh Grant, Danai Gurira, Nicole Kidman, Florence Pugh and Sigourney Weaver, according to the institution.

Among the presenters who have already been revealed in the previous days are Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan MajorsMelissa McCarthy, Janelle Monáe, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Donnie Yen and Zoe Saldana.

The Academy will continue to update throughout this week on other names personalities who will participate in the ceremony.

Some musical performances like that of Rihanna, with a nominated song or Lenny Kravitz who will be in charge of interpretation during “In Memoriam”, a space where members of the film industry who have died in the last year are honored.

95th edition Oscar will be held this Sunday at Los Angeles Dolby Theatre (United States), will have comedian Jimmy Kimmel as master of ceremonies and will be broadcast live on ABC.

Jimmy Kimmel will host for the third time and the first time since 2018. It was also the last part of the Oscars with a solo presenter.

The performance was without host several years after the last release Kimmel.

Last year, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes hosted as a trio.
