Avril Lavigne was photographed making out with rapper Tyga in Paris just weeks after the 38-year-old announced her split from fiancé Mod Sun. This causes a stir among her fans.
Avril Lavigne has been married twice. With musician Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2010 and with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger from 2013 to 2015. Some of her fans don’t like the fact that she gets involved with a new man so quickly after breaking off her third engagement. That’s why there are tons of hateful comments under , latest Instagram post – and about the same number of comments from fans protecting their idol from the bad pronouncements.

The angry fans have several reasons why Tyga is not the right partner for Lavigne. The rapper has been involved in quite a few controversies in the past. In 2022, he had to remove his music video for “Ay Caramba”. That’s because the song was laced with Latin American stereotypes. Tyga is also Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend, who he allegedly cheated on during their relationship. Kylie Jenner and Avril Lavigne were even friends at the time.
A fan posted a video on TikTok explaining why the two celebrities’ relationship is so important. Lavigne and Tyga have been in the same circles for years. So Tyga has a baby with rapper Black China, Black China has a baby with Rob Kardashian, Rob Kardashian is Kylie Jenner’s half brother who is Tyga’s ex-girlfriend. In addition, Kylie is Brody Jenner’s half-sister and Brody Jenner is Avril Lavigne’s ex-boyfriend. Very simple, right?
So far, neither Avril Lavigne nor Tyga have commented on their relationship. According to TMZ, the two are just getting to know each other.
