Monday: Documentary about “Nothing New in the West”
The German anti-war film “Nothing New in the West” has been nominated this year for an Oscar for Best International Film – and more than that! Because the Netflix production also received a nomination in eight other categories. You can see how good the new film adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque’s novel is on Netflix – and now, brand new, how complicated the shooting was. Netflix will publish a making-of for Edward Berger’s “Nothing New in the West” on Monday.

Wednesday: addition to the double thriller

Friday: “We Have A Ghost” with Anthony Mackie
On Friday there is the biggest new arrival of the week – namely the horror comedy”We have a ghost” starring Stranger Things and Marvel star David Harbour, Captain America actor Anthony Mackie and Golden Globe winner Jennifer Coolidge.
In the “Happy Deathday” fantasy film, director Christopher Landon, Frank (Anthony Mackie) and Melanie (Erica Ash) move into a new house with their children – only to discover that it is haunted. House ghost Ernest (David Harbour) seems like a friendly man, but his appearance soon attracts the attention of the media, a fortune teller (Jennifer Coolidge) and even the CIA, wreaking havoc on the family.
Saturday: “Clerks 3” by Kevin Smith
Filmmaker Kevin Smith has been campaigning for years to make another sequel to his cult film Clerks. In 2022 it finally happened – and now the sequel is already available as a streaming subscription. On February 25 “Clerks IIIreleased on Netflix and brings back most of the crew from the original comedy.
When Randal (Jeff Anderson) has a heart attack, Dante (Brian O’Halloran) calls on old friends Elias (Trevor Fehrman), Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith). Together they want to make a film about the life of their almost lost friend Randal – and about the small mini-supermarket that brought them together.
