Netflix is constantly expanding its portfolio of fantasy series, recently released the new adaptation “Lockwood & Co.” and released the mega-successful Addams Family series “Wednesday,” and brought the comedic adaptation “The Sandman” second season. However, this fate does not threaten “Shadow And Bone – Legends of the Grisha”.
Because with “Shadow And Bone”, Netflix is adapting Leigh Bardugo’s best-selling series of the same name – and it has many fans who made the first season of the Netflix series a great success in early 2021. 55 million households watched the adventures of Alina (Jessie Mei Li) & Co in the first 28 days after the series’ release, before Netflix switched to the new metric, which measures success by minutes viewed. And now the success story continues: season 2 of “Shadow and Bone – Legends of Grisha‘ will be released on Netflix on March 16, 2023.
In Season 2, Alina meets a new ally
Almost exactly a month before, there is finally the first real trailer of the eight new episodes of the second season, which appear on Netflix in one fell swoop. In Season 2, Alina and Mal (Archie Renaux) the charming privateer Nikolai Lantsov also known as Sturmhond (Patrick Gibson), whose true identity will play a big part in Alina’s future adventures.

The sun warrior Alina continues to search for a way the dark (Ben Barnes) who no longer has to hide behind his Grisha General Kirigan facade and can openly battle his army of shadow monsters. The dark one has escaped the shadow corridor and now has severe facial scars, but is also more powerful than ever.
Meanwhile, the gang of crooks led by Kaz Brekker (Freddy Carter) plot a grand but potentially deadly heist. and Wylan Hendriks (Jack Wolfe) finally takes the stage, now completing the “Six of Crows”.
