Although Netflix has a number of exciting films and series on offer in February 2023, our preview of the coming week next Sunday actually looks pretty thin. The only major titles are the first half of season four You and the star-studded rom-com Your Place Or Mine, starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. As always, you can find out what else is out there in our overview of Netflix reboots from February 6-12, 2023:
Monday & Tuesday: Nothing and nothing again
Netflix actually hasn’t announced any titles for Monday and Tuesday – that’s pretty unusual. Sure, the first two days of the week, like the weekend, tend to be sparsely populated, but no reboots at all? We are sure: there will definitely be some unannounced licensed title.
Wednesday: Of legends and stock market transactions
On Wednesday there will be two reboots that are certainly not aimed at the broad masses, but will still find their audience: The focus of the documentary “Bill Russell legend“ state – who would have thought? – civil rights activist and basketball player Bill Russell.
And in the Kuwaiti series based on true stories “The trade“ In the 1980s, two women conquered the sworn and corrupt male realm of stock market trading for themselves.
Thursday: Stalking again
“You – you will love me“ is one of Netflix’s biggest hits and has been running on the streaming service since 2018. Now, after a break of almost a year and a half, the fourth season is starting to air, although it will be divided into two halves for the first time. This model is becoming increasingly popular with Netflix, for example with “Stranger Things” season 4. The second half of the fourth season “You” was waiting for you on March 9, 2023. The waiting time is therefore limited.
The new sci-fi animation series also starts on Thursday “My father, the bounty hunter“ and the Indonesian high school film “dear David“whose premise (a student’s secret love fantasies are accidentally published) is reminiscent of the hit series “To All The Boys”.
Friday: Double RomCom comeback
In the 1990s, Reese Witherspoon (“Sweet Home Alabama”, “Legally Blonde”) and Ashton Kutcher (“Guess Who”, “Love Vegas”) were among Hollywood’s biggest rom-com stars. After looking elsewhere for the past few years – Witherspoon bagged her second Oscar nomination for “The Big Trip – Wild”, Kutcher was featured in the neo-noir satire “Revenge the Texas” – they are now returning “With you or with me“ back to the romantic comedy:

Saturday and Sunday: Watchlist time
Netflix has not yet announced a restart for Saturday and Sunday either. But just like at the beginning of the week, we’re pretty sure that one or the other unexpected title will show up. And even if not, you’ll at least have time for one of the (few) new releases from the days before or for a title that’s been on the watch list for a long time.
