Not only Amazon is currently offering strong deals. As you know, the competition never sleeps. Otto proves this once again with a heavily discounted LG OLED TV, which is available for a new low price thanks to an extra discount.

The B2 has never been so cheap in this size. At Amazon it costs LG OLED B2 with 77 inches currently 2399 euros*. This is the B29LA model, which has a second TV tuner compared to the B23LA presented here, with which you can record a TV program while watching another channel. Whether this is relevant to you and worth more than 200 euros is up to you to decide.
If you prefer it a little smaller, there’s the 55-inch version of the B29LA at Amazon for 1169 euros*. 65 inches (164 centimeters) currently costs 1599 euros*.
LG OLED B2: Strong image with Dolby Vision IQ
But now back to the B23LA at Otto. Let’s start with the most important criterion for a television: the picture. Thanks to OLED technology, the B2 generates strong contrasts and very high color purity with its self-illuminating pixels. The good range between deep black and bright image areas is also typical of OLED screens. So you can always keep an eye on everything, even in the dark “Game of Thrones” finale.
You have to compromise on brightness. Here the B2 doesn’t come close to the values of the premium class like the LG OLED G1. LG’s top model, however, costs almost a thousand more at 77 inches. The processor of the B2 is also no longer up to date, but it still offers high-quality upscaling from Full HD to 4K resolution.
There’s also Dolby Vision support and even Dolby Vision IQ. As a result, the B2 automatically adjusts its screen brightness to the ambient light in your home cinema. And even with several people, movie nights are fun, because the high viewing angle stability ensures only minimal changes in the image from the side.
Those who not only want to enjoy movies and series, but also video games, will appreciate the 120 Hertz panel of the LG OLED B2 and the two HDMI 2.1 connections. In combination with the variable frame rate (VRR), the input lag is reduced to 13 milliseconds, so that your controller commands arrive on the display at lightning speed. This way you get the most out of the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Another strong point of the B2 is the smart TV equipment, which now even allows individual settings. This allows multiple users to save their preferences, which is especially interesting for flats and families. Speaking of which, in the new operating system you can limit screen time and maximum volume under family settings.
You can control all this with LG’s remote control, which was named Magic Remote, supports voice input via Google and Alexa and whose buttons can even be assigned individually. The processing of the remote control could certainly be better, but the functions are extensive.
Ultimately, the LG OLED B2 offers a strong all-round package and the perfect middle ground between the entry-level segment of 4K televisions and the premium class.
