“Imagine what we can achieve when our time is unlimited,” a cracked voice whispers against the darkly flickering images in the trailer for “Divinity,” a sci-fi movie premiering this year at Utah’s Sundance Film Festival. “Imagine what we can achieve if our time is infinite” – and that’s exactly what the movie, produced by “Magic Mike” and “Side Effects” creator Steven Soderbergh, is all about. Director Eddie Alcazar (“Perfect”) searches for the secret of immortality in the black-and-white thriller.
In addition to very impressive visuals, the film also has an interesting cast with Stephen Dorff (“Blade”), Bella Thorne (“Midnight Sun”) and Scott Bakula (“American Beauty”). Unfortunately, “Divinity” does not have a fixed start date yet.

The world isn’t what it used to be. Society depends on the drug Divinity, which scientist Sterling Pierce (Scott Bakula) once invented and with which he hoped to become immortal.
