“Rocky” better than ever? Cult classic with Sylvester Stallone gets a new edition in the home theater

In just under two months, “Creed III” (in theaters March 2, 2023) will be the ninth chapter in the “Rocky” universe – and the third part of the spin-off series about Apollo Creed’s son Adonis (Michael B Jordan) . Those who prefer to stick with the original will be served a few weeks later – because then the film that started it all shines in new splendour.

The 4K debut brings the home theater premiere of “Rocky IV” in the Director’s Cut (in addition to the theatrical version). In addition to the theatrical version we know, we finally get to see “Rocky Vs. Drago – The Ultimate Director’s Cut”, which was released in US cinemas in 2022, but has not yet been released in this country.
