Deleted scenes that give you a different take on your favorite movie

It’s no secret that a lot more is shot during a movie shoot than gets into the movie. But some deleted scenes could have steered one movie or the other in a different direction or even given it a different meaning.

In the deleted scene, after the Joker blows up the hospital in The Dark Knight, he gets on the bus and drives off without looking back. The scene on the bus that shows he doesn’t care about the destruction he just caused is missing from the film.

Meryl Streep plays tough boss Miranda in The Devil Wears Prada. Her thank you to Andy in this deleted scene doesn’t suit her at all. That’s probably why the scene was cut from the movie.

Ally and Jack’s wedding isn’t actually mentioned in “A Star Is Born”. A deleted scene fast-forwards the day as Ally sings a love song to Jack on stage.

A scene has been deleted from The Truman Show in which Truman begins to grow suspicious after noticing one of the actors who is in a wheelchair one day and running the next.

In “Mean Girls”, Regina is hit by a bus. But the scene where Cady apologizes didn’t make it into the finished film. Even though the movie works without this scene, it’s a nice moment that takes Regina’s rough edges away.

There is no alternate ending for “Scream 4”, but there is an alternate opening sequence. Two teenagers play pranks on each other. Then when Ghostface shows up and attacks a teenage girl, she doesn’t react because she thinks it’s a prank.

Many people lose their lives fighting Thanos, including Tony Stark aka Iron Man. In honor of him, all the Avengers fall to their knees. The latter contains an emotional scene that didn’t make it to the movie.

For “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1”, the makers filmed a scene in which Petunia and Dudley say goodbye to Harry. Thanks to this scene, these two get a character development that is now missing from the movie.

An alternate ending was released in the US version of “Pride and Prejudice” starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. The scene supposedly takes place after the wedding, as Mr. Darcy calls Elizabeth Mrs. Darcy, and the two kiss for the first time in the film.

The alternate ending for “I Am Legend” is close to the book the movie is based on. Will Smith’s character realizes that the infected also have feelings. He apologizes and, on the other hand, the infected allows him to live.

In the first two “Lord of the Rings” movies, the villain Saruman caused a lot of trouble. His death is only mentioned in passing in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, but his death scene is filmed: Gandalf tries to persuade Saruman to act as an informant when Saruman is attacked and falls off the tower to his death. .

Because director Peter Jackson decided to omit this important scene, Saruman actor Christopher Lee refused to attend the premiere.
