The fans of the Netflix series won’t like that: Big changes for the “Daredevil” MCU series are apparently certain

The subject already bubbled up around the appearance of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in “She-Hulk”: Does Charlie Cox really play exactly the same character that he also played in the popular series “Daredevil”, which used to be on Netflix (but now on Disney +) ? So is the MCU Daredevil a reboot or a sequel to the character? However, so far Marvel has not provided an official answer there are increasing signs that the new series “Daredevil: Born Againwill be more of a fresh start with the same main cast than an actual sequel.

Because now reports the American industry magazine , That with Margaret Levieva and Sandrine Holt Two new actresses have been signed for “Daredevil: Born Again” – apparently as respective screen partners for Daredevil and (!) his opponent Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin (again played by Vincent D’Onofrio).

In the case of Vincent D’Onofrio’s kingpin, that is Vanessa Marianna, played by Ayelet Zurer in the old series “Daredevil”. However, it would be conceivable that Sandrine Holt would play a different version of Vanessa or that the role would be recast, after all, that’s also the name of the Kingpin’s partner and wife in the comics.

And with Daredevil, both appear Deborah Ann Woll like Karen Page too Elodie Yung to be history as Elektra for now. By the way, the same goes for Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), whom Daredevil had contact with in the MCU series She-Hulk.

So if you were hoping that Daredevil: Born Again would deepen Wilson Fisk and Vanessa’s relationship or that Matt Murdock and Karen Page would reunite, you’re in for a disappointment.

At least there is a glimmer of hope: Charlie Cox has already stated that he believes Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson (who played Matt Murdock’s best friend and law firm Foggy Nelson in the Netflix series) played important roles in the success of “Daredevil” is said to have contributed. It seems he wants to push for a comeback between the two…

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to release on Disney+ in early 2024. Then we will find out at the latest which characters and which romances will take from “Daredevil” the new series.
