These are your most beautiful Christmas decorations

As these pictures show, there is a pre-Christmas feel at home in the Blick community. Sometimes candlelight and lamps shine in elaborately decorated living rooms, on the balcony or at home.

The hall has Advent wreaths and several Christmas trees, and the angels, reindeer, and Santa have moved into the apartments and homes of the Blick community.

A few years ago, the Berber couple Gerbers built a small gnome house for their two children from an unused drawer and decorated their «Gnome» Runa’s house a little differently all year round. Now, of course, Runa’s little fairy house is decorated for Christmas, and parents tell their children stories about it.

Erika and Roland Woodtli of Safenwil AG are also big Christmas fans. They have a real Christmas room in their apartment during Advent. There is even a Christmas train in Stübli, and the decorated Christmas tree is already there.

Erika Woodtli explains: “Traditionally we keep our Christmas tree in the apartment until January 6th. I water it every day to keep it beautiful». Over the years she has bought many Christmas ornaments and decorations from markets or specialty shops, and even got some as gifts. ” My relatives and friends know that I am a Christmas fan.”

Electricity saving is no problem

The decorated and illuminated house and garden at Werner Zimmermann’s shine like every year. “We keep all the Christmas lights on LEDs and enjoy the Advent season.” With Christmas approaching, saving electricity isn’t a problem for him. “As long as the ski areas can run the snow machines, we can keep our Christmas lights on,” he says.

There’s already a good Christmas spirit in the house with Frank Peterer at Ägeri ZG. “The only thing missing is snow, then Christmas can come.”
