“Pirates of the Caribbean 6” is next – and then possibly the basically dead spin-off starring Margot Robbie

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” series should continue without Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, but how? It’s been over five years since the launch of Pirates Of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and it’s still not really clear what path Disney wants to take next. Two projects have recently emerged: a Female pirate spin-off starring Margot Robbie and one if sixth part of the main series working soft reboot by authors Craig Mazin and Ted Elliott.

However, a few weeks ago, Margot Robbie, who was set to lead the role in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” offshoot starring female pirates, said the movie wouldn’t be made after all. Franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer has now corrected this statement: The “Pirates of the Caribbean” spin-off will have female stars not finished.

“I think the script will be pushed at some point. We’ve developed two different stories for ‘Pirates’ and we’re going to do the other one first. So we’re working on that right now, we’re trying [diesen Film] to do,” explains Bruckheimer in an interview with .
