Top 4 mistakes made when making tiramisu
Mistake 1: Too liquid cream
In order for the tiramisu to meet your expectations, the cream should not be too runny. This can happen if the mascarpone is whipped too long and too heavily. This causes the cream to coagulate and flow. Cream must be whipped for a long time – the cream must be firm for your tiramisu to have enough consistency.
Mistake 2: Wrong amount of sugar
It depends on the amount: too much sugar means other flavors are not coming to them. On the other hand, too little sugar makes tiramisu bitter and bland. The dose of sugar should be chosen according to the cat fingers. If the biscuits already have a light layer of sugar, feel free to use less sugar.
Mistake 3: Use moist cookies
If the cookies get too wet while they are being prepared, the tiramisu will turn out to be mushy. To prevent this from happening, you should let the coffee cool before dipping it. It can be poured over the biscuits when the temperature of the coffee drops. The cookies will be too soft if you pour too much liquid on them.
Error 4: incorrect storage
Tiramisu can only be stored for a few hours at room temperature. Ideally, cover the dessert with aluminum foil and put it in the refrigerator. Tiramisu can be stored this way for up to three days. If you can’t eat it within three days, you can freeze it. Thanks to this, the dessert classic can be stored for up to three months.

Gingerbread tiramisu recipe
Gingerbread tiramisu recipe, which is very suitable for the New Year and takes about 25 minutes to make.

1½ days | strong coffee |
1 to 2 tablespoons | amaretto |
300 grams | Mascarpone cheese |
2 | eggs |
4 tablespoons | Candy |
Some | cocoa powder |
Some | gingerbread seasoning |
Preparation:
- Finely chop the gingerbread and place half of it in the casserole dish. Set the rest aside.
- Beat the egg yolks with three tablespoons of sugar until a foamy mass is formed. Then add the beaten egg whites and mascarpone alternately.
- Mix the chilled coffee with a tablespoon each of sugar and amaretto. Drizzle half of the mixture over the gingerbread.
- Pour half of the mascarpone cream over the gingerbread in the casserole dish. Then sprinkle some gingerbread on it. Repeat this process with all the ingredients until it’s completely gone. Make sure the top layer is cream.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for at least two hours. Before serving, sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa powder and ginger spice as desired.
