‘GIVE NAMOR HIS PENIS BACK’: Did Marvel really digitally shrink Namor’s best part in ‘Black Panther 2’?

Antihero Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta, is certainly one of the highlights of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever and has a lot to offer in the latest MCU blockbuster, after all, the antihero has several abilities that make him a real threat. The ruler of the underwater nation, Talokan is not only supreme in the water, but can also launch powerful attacks on land and – thanks to the small wings on his feet – even in the air.

But apparently the swimwear lover had even more to offer: A viral tweet seems to reveal that the actor’s best part has been digitally scaled down in Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever. Has a certain anatomical feature been on screen so much that Marvel executives have decided to digitally scale it down? The tweet with the headline “GIVE NAMOR HIS PENIS BACK” (Translation: “GIVE HIS PENIS BACK TO NAMOR”) suggests just that.

The image on the right is a still from the first Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever trailer, while the image on the left is from another preview. Which image is real? In an interview with the Tenoch Huerta has confirmed that the image on the right is the original:

“[Lacht] All I can say is: The original was the photo on the right. Without [die Beule]! This is the original. No, I mean, I won’t lie to people. […] The real photo is the one on the right.”

Marvel didn’t digitally shrink Namor’s swimwear hump – it’s the other way around!

So we can reassure fans, Marvel didn’t steal Namor’s penis! Instead, in the first “Wakanda Forever” trailer, the actor shoved an extra pound into his swimsuit. Kudos to the actor’s honesty – the man takes the whole thing with a good dose of humor.
