Amazon has had a second streaming service since August 2022: in addition to the Prime membership, which offers access to numerous films and series via Prime Video at no extra cost, there is now Amazon Freevee. As the name suggests, all of Freevee’s content is completely free and accessible for free. The catch: There are commercial breaks. Amazon has now announced the Freevee titles for December 2022 – and there are again some films and series that are worth checking out.
The double Oscar-winning western masterpiece “There Will Be Blood” kicks off December 1, followed by the zombie double “Train To Busan” and “Peninsula” on the 8th of the month. From December 12, the great Tom Hanks awaits you as “The Wonderful Mr. Rogers” and you can also look forward to Richard Linklater’s eleven year (!) mammoth project “Boyhood”.

There’s also a Chris Hemsworth doppelgänger in Ca$h and Blackhat, Katheryn Bigelow’s standout Zero Dark Thirty, plus Arnold Schwarzenegger in a zombie drama (Maggie) and British starwalking in Edgar Wright’s hilarious sci-fi comedy The World’s End.
