In 2021 Swisslos introduced its new advent lottery ticket – and to be quite honest, it’s a bit complicated. So don’t miss your chance to win a million this year because you misinterpreted the rules, here’s the simple explanation.
It’s up to you whether you want to scratch off all the fields at once or be patient and open a “door” every day. The advent ticket 2022 consists of 4 games, we will explain them one by one:
First, all fields (1-8) are scratched out. Now you may scratch away all matching squares in game one (on the right). If you manage to clear a full horizontal line to the left or right of the prize field, you can scratch away the prize field to find out what your prize is. If you manage the entire row next to the 1000 Francs arrow, you will even win 1000 Francs.
Multiple wins are possible in this game, explains Swisslos. If you count yourself among the lucky winners, you can separate this part from the rest of the lottery ticket and redeem your prize at the nearest retailer.
The second game looks a little different. But here too you start by scratching away the numbered fields on the left (9-16). As with game 1, the right side is scratched off again, which can be seen on the numbered spaces. Whose scratch luck lasts until a winning field – of course without holes – wins the amount he made it to.
FYI: you only win the amount that is reached then, all winning fields that are reached along the way do not count.
If you’re lucky, you can increase your chances of making the big bucks by winning a free ticket. All you have to do is check if your symbols match the symbols next to the “Free” arrow. Again, you’ll need to separate the game from the rest of the lottery ticket and take it to the nearest retailer to redeem your prize.
Next up is game number three – scramble up spaces 17 through 24 first. This game works a bit like “4 in a row” – the goal is to scratch off a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line. You can then use the corresponding arrows to see how high your profit is. For example, for a diagonal row you get 1,000 francs extra for the Christmas box.
Multiple winnings are also possible here, which you can exchange at the next point of sale with your separate partial ticket.
Last but not least comes the million dollar game. Previously scratched-in, numbered fields are used for this. It’s actually quite simple: just scratch off the spaces that show a previously scratched symbol. If you manage to discover an entire gift, you will win the corresponding amount. For the largest, top present, that is, for example, 1 million francs – with that you really should be able to fulfill all (material) Christmas wishes.
If you win the million game, you must make a copy of the ticket and send it by registered mail to the address stated on the advent lot.
The Advent ticket costs 100 francs. The price remains the same as last year.
In games one to three there is a maximum of CHF 1,000 to be won. Multiple wins are also possible in games one and three. In the million-dollar game, up to a million Swiss francs must then be dusted off.
The Advent ticket can be bought at all Swisslos sales points in Switzerland – for example at the newsstand. A total of 600,000 tickets are sold.
You can also redeem them at the same outlets that sell the tickets. As described above, you only need to show your separated partial ticket.
