Love is dead: YuYu is broken up

When Yuliya gave Benza her last rose in the final season of “Bachelorette”, Switzerland held her breath. When the sympathetic Graubündense Yuri Natale received the last rose, there was no dry eye left. The TV dream couple with the sonorous name YuYu got engaged in front of the camera. And now the fairytale should be over.

“We’re celebrating YuYu being the best this show has ever produced since Yuri first cast his soulful eye on Yuliya,” our culture editor Simone Meier wrote of the current “Reunion” episode. And so did all of us – all those whose hearts are now broken by this breach.

Since looking back rarely heals hearts, we prefer to focus on the present: YuYu is history. Yuliya does not want to give “Blick” information about the details of the divorce. She says she wholeheartedly accepted the proposal about four months ago — but then the couple had too many disagreements.

Yuri addressed the divorce and, according to the former Bachelorette, hurtful sentences were also spoken, which she does not respond to. She’s a little more talkative on her Instagram story:

A major problem would have been communication between the two ex-fiancés. In an interview with “20 Minuten”, Yuliya said she reacted differently to the calm Bündner in a conflict: “Yuri likes to withdraw when there are differences of opinion and is sensitive to arguments, while I like to discuss topics and get things done.”

But Yuri also sees the reasons elsewhere. He told the Pendler-Zeitung that he was probably too normal for them.

YuYu’s love shocks Switzerland, because for once we really thought that two people had found each other for life in front of the camera. But to all appearances, true love is just a myth that is now dead – thank you for nothing, 3 Plus.
