That went pretty quickly. Just two weeks ago, the first season of the mega-series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” ended on Amazon Prime Video, which dominated the Amazon top ten for weeks. And now the fantasy hit has had to leave the top spot again, because now more people are watching the latest Amazon hit instead of catching up on episodes of “The Rings of Power.”
The sci-fi series “Periphery” is now more popular on Amazon Prime Video than the “Lord of the Rings” series. A look at the top ten shows: “Periphery” has taken first place, “The Rings of Power” has dropped to second place.

“The Peripheral”, as the series is originally called, has grabbed the Friday slot of “The Rings of Power”: Since October 21, 2022, a new episode is always published on Friday, so we’re currently on episode 2 of the eight-part first season. The season finale of “Periphery” will then be on December 9, 2022. And then it has to go on by the way: Season 2 of “Periphery” is already planned, but has not yet been officially ordered by Amazon.

One day, Flynne fills in for her brother Burton (Jack Reynor) at work. She would be testing a video game – allegedly…

With a headset, Flynne finds himself in dystopian 22nd century London. However, she soon realizes to her horror that she is not in a simulation: the device really does allow you to travel through time! Flynne is approached in the future by a man named Wylf (Gary Carr), whom she is supposed to help solve a murder – but her life is in danger in the process…
But if you’d rather see new episodes of “The Rings of Power” on Friday, that’s yet to come take quite a long time. We don’t expect season 2 of “The Rings of Power” to start before 2024. But we’ve already put it together for you what could season 2 be about?.
