The low-budget horror about Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and co., who are no longer cuddly childhood heroes but are now hungry for bloody revenge, grossed a whopping $5 million on a budget of $100,000. No wonder a second part was quickly added. It will be released in German cinemas on April 25.
But that’s not enough, because how exclusively reported, a third installment has also been given the green light. As stated there, other characters from the original ‘Winnie the Pooh’ stories will appear. In “Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 3”, Rabbit and the Heffalumps can soon also cause sadism and carnage.
The “Pooh universe” is growing and growing
About a week ago, it was also reported that we could also expect a “Blood And Honey” answer to “Avengers,” which would be called “Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.” Here the characters from the world of the Hundred Acre Wood meet Bambi, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty and many others. However, they not only work together, but also fight with each other. It is not yet clear when the film will be released and how it will be related to “Blood And Honey 3”.
