The place where the women dig

I was in Davos for a weekend and brought you a little analysis and a song.

If you want to get to know someone in Zurich in real life, in a bar or a club, I’m not talking about the crazy things that only happen in the movies, where people cross each other on the sidewalk in broad daylight and are so mesmerized that they turn around and marry each other on the spot, no, I’m talking about the cheap, banal, alcohol-related approach in places where you hardly see or hear each other, that’s what I’m talking about, and that never happens in Zurich. Not for me, not for my friends and certainly not for you. Except maybe you look like Jennifer Lawrence. But who looks like Jennifer Lawrence? Even.

Last weekend I was in Davos. And anyone who has ever been to Davos in winter knows: all of Zurich is there. In the Jatzhütte, the Bolgenschanze, in the Pöstli, just in all places where there is cheering and drinking, you hear Züridütsch everywhere.

My observation – my analysis will come soon, it makes sense, we also do a little educational work here, it is not just a Jekami (anyone can participate), no, it is also a socio-cultural study, which I will tell you everything Weeks delivery…

item.

Now there are all these people who ignore each other and are silent every night in the city where they live, but they are not in the city where they live, they are in the mountains, but all together, what actually, if it If it would make sense are, it would mean that they behave as they do where everyone is together, that is, at home. But no: they are all different together.

Everyone talks to each other, everyone toasts each other, everyone hugs each other. If you meet a colleague of a colleague in a bar in Zurich, you probably nod at each other. But in Davos, similar blood alcohol level, similar environment, apart from the mountains, I mean bar and dance floor, in Davos there’s shouting in the ear, drinks are being handed out, a bit of spoiz is being handed out, everyone is best friends, everyone is collective in love with each other Crush.

The craziest thing: in Davos it is the women who talk to someone. The same women who would never open their mouths in Zurich. I was on the dance floor in Davos for two hours and there was hardly a moment when someone wasn’t spinning around me.

Now my question to you: WHY?! Why is that?

My analysis: it’s the mountain air. No. I think it’s peer pressure. But in a positive sense. You don’t see anyone digging in Zurich, so you don’t do it. Everyone digs in the mountains, so you do.

The answer is: No, I don’t. I was there with my sisters. Your statements would be too strenuous, the whole thing too tedious. Or to put it another way: my sisters are a better contraceptive than Zurich.

But – we end with hope, because hope dies last, okay, the saying doesn’t fit perfectly, but it came to my mind, and because after all the dancing and talking I feel more confident than I have in a long time, it hit me, I just let him out – I gave my number to a woman. She didn’t look like Jennifer Lawrence. Anyway. Very good. And she was very funny. Very sympathetic. Very everything. The most absurd thing: she lives in the same neighborhood as me. For seven years. So we probably met on the sidewalk 284 times.

So long,

Ben
