Previously unthinkable: one of the most legendary horror film series is now available in its entirety for very little money

With Amazon’s Easter offers (March 20 to 25), the shipping giant’s biggest bargain campaign so far this year starts next Wednesday. From now on you can really save a lot of money in many product categories – for example with the Fire TV Stick, the Echo Dot or when purchasing a 4K television. And of course countless films and series:

Among other things, many films have been reduced in price 4K and 3D*, DVDs and Blu-rays* and countless animations in the 3-for-2 promotion*. It is also particularly worth taking a look Box sets and special editions* – because here you can get both entire film series and complete series boxes for little money. Horror fans can look forward to plenty of unadulterated fare at a bargain price – like the ‘Blade’ trilogy with Wesley Snipes, which you can get on Blu-ray for just under 13 euros…

…as well as the 5-pack containing all previous “Final Destination” films, which you can currently get on Blu-ray for less than 20 euros…

… and the complete box set of “The Walking Dead”, for which you don’t even have to pay 100 euros anymore (on DVD). The Blu-ray is also heavily discounted.

A special highlight – next to the Nightmare on Elm Street Collection* like “Scream 1-6”* – is different, however. The unabridged “Friday the 13th” collection is also currently available on Blu-ray at major discounts:

Hardly anyone would have believed that 20 or 30 years ago: At that time, most of the orgies of slaughter by the famous Crystal Lake murderer Jason Voorhees were still on the index and therefore could not be openly advertised or sold in Germany. Obtaining the unabridged versions was quite difficult – and often involved a lot of effort and expense. Nowadays, however, the tide has long since turned:

The uncut versions were gradually given an 18th release by the FSK, so that the series is now considered rehabilitated. Due to the legal situation here, a complete box with all the chapters has still not been published in this country, but that is the case It’s great that the uncut collection of 8 films is now available in HD for only 35 euros. It used to be difficult to get a feature film with watchable quality, but now you don’t pay five euros for an uncut slasher with cult factor (some with higher, some with lower…).

Currently you can also save on many other horror films and series. To be on the safe side, don’t just do a quick price comparison before you buy, but also check which cut versions you are dealing with. So much can already be said at this point: the box set “Wrong Turn”, which is released for 18 years and older, for example, contains several chapters of the slasher series, only in the harmless version.
