This man should be the new James Bond

The British media are sure that the rumor mill has been running for months: Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the next James Bond.

As British tabloid The Sun reports, 33-year-old Aaron Taylor-Johnson has received an official offer. According to a source, he has not yet accepted this. If he does, he would be the seventh actor to portray the iconic role of the British secret agent.

This would have given him an edge over other handsome actors such as Cillian Murphy, Henry Cavill, James Norton and Idris Elba.

The British film production company EON, which has produced almost all Bond films to date, expects a commitment, the source tells the Sun:

When asked about the rumors by Numéro magazine last week, the British actor said:

This Disney/Marvel photo shows Aaron Taylor-Johnson, left, as Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff, and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff, in a scene from the film, "Avengers: ...

Aaron is known for his roles in Nocturnal Animals, Kick-Ass, Nowhere Boy and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Taylor-Johnson’s next big role will take place in the Spiderman universe, where he will play the lead role Kraven The Hunter. (saw)
