All the winners of the 2024 Oscars: This is the best film of the year

On the night of March 10 to 11, 2024 it was “And The Oscar Goes To…” again. Accompanied by late night talker Jimmy Kimmel, the Academy Awards were presented in Hollywood for the 96th time. We’ll reveal who took home one of the world’s most important film awards this time.

Christopher Nolan’s biopic epic “Oppenheimer” entered the race as the big favorite with a total of 13 nominations. And what’s more, in the end, “Oppenheimer” not only won the top prize for Best Film of the year, but also the most awards of the evening with seven trophies.

This is followed by Yórgos Lánthimos’ wild and masterful genre mix “Poor Things” with four Oscars (including for Emma Stone as Best Actress). The eight-time nominated mega hit ‘Barbie’ ultimately only managed to win a golden boy (for the song ‘What Was I Made For?’ sung by Billie Eilish). Martin Scorsese’s gigantic work “Killers Of The Flower Moon” ultimately went completely empty-handed with a total of ten nominations.
