A similar record will probably appear on TikTok soon. TikToker Bella Poarch currently has the most liked video on the platform. The lip sync clip has 795 million views and 64 million likes (as of February 27).
But now another video is coming up. A simple flash shot of a bowl of chocolate strawberries racked up 271 million views and 36 million likes.
The video was uploaded by the unknown user “pray4gabs”. There is no description, just the hashtags #fy, #foryou, #strawberry, #chocolate and #chocolatecoveredstrawberries. The 1978 song “What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell plays in the background. The viral video helped the song reach No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50.
Although the strawberry video doesn’t even have half the views of the Bella Poarch clip, this is the reason for Bella’s success. Shortly after publication – on February 5 – the strawberries had already been viewed 190 million times. Poarch’s clip then got a real boost. Since then, bets have been placed in the comments below both videos on which video will make it to the top. This gives both TikToks even more views. It was exactly such a discussion that led to the World Record Egg reaching the top.
