The “Dance of the Dragons” civil war really got going at the end of the first season of “House Of The Dragon”. Therefore, in Episode 10, Daemon (Matt Smith) heads for Dragon Mountain, a volcano, to “tame” one of the dragons that live there: The animal is Vermithor, also called “Bronze Fury”, the second largest dragon in the House Of The Dragon era after Aemond’s dragon Vhagar. Showrunner Ryan Condal confirmed this in an interview with Variety.
In order not to be immediately roasted by the dragon, Daemon approaches him singing. The song is in High Valyrian – the language used in the Game Of Thrones world to train dragons and give them commands. The song lines are not subtitled in the episode.
