A must for all “Yellowstone” fans: the German trailer for Kevin Costner’s gigantic western epic “Horizon” is here!

‘Yellowstone’ is an absolute series phenomenon and includes not only five seasons, but also several spin-offs. Kevin Costner (“Man Of Steel”) himself appeared in the main series as ranch patriarch John Dutton – but will likely not return (or only in a limited capacity) for the remaining episodes of the final fifth season. Not least because he preferred to take the time to stage his own powerful Western epic.

It has been Kevin Costner’s great wish for years to create a gigantic work dealing with the settlement of the American West. And that’s exactly what we get this year. The Western epic, which may even have been designed for four films, but will initially consist of two films, will open on August 22, 2024 with “Horizon: an American saga – part 1“, before that on November 7 “Horizon: an American saga – part 2to follow in cinemas.

Spanning a period of several years, Horizon tells the story of settlers in the American West, beginning before the Civil War and ending after the Civil War. ‘Dances with Wolves’ creator Kevin Costner will not only appear in front of the camera, but also serve as director, producer and co-writer. After more than twenty years, Costner is finally responsible for directing a film again (“Open Range” from 2003 was his last directorial work).

In addition to Kevin Costner, there are a number of other familiar faces waiting for us in ‘Horizon’. There are also Sam Worthington (“Avatar: The Way Of Water”), Giovanni Ribisi (“Saving Private Ryan”), Isabelle Fuhrmann (“Orphan: First Kill”), Michael Rooker (“Guardians Of The Galaxy”), Jena Malone (“Too Old to Die Young”), Sienna Miller (“American Sniper”), Jamie Campbell Bower (“Stranger Things”), Abbey Lee (“Mad Max Fury Road”) and Luke Wilson (“Old School”) from the game.
