Disney continues some of its biggest hits – and has now revealed: “Frozen 3”, “Toy Story 5” & Co. will be released next.

Moana 2“Coming – and should in November 2024 get started! We were able to make many Disney fans happy this morning with this surprise. But that’s not the end of the story.

Also Maushaus boss Bob Iger The release dates for some of the most anticipated Disney animated films have now been revealed. Some already have a specific date, some with estimated time windows – which fans of the successful predecessors can use as a guide.

2025: “Zoomania 2”

‘Zoomania’, also known internationally as ‘Zootopia’ and ‘Zootropolis’, became one of the most successful films of the year in 2016. Over $1.028 Billion at the Box Office Showed: People Love Flash the Sloth, Hopps the Bunny Cop and Co. – and would probably be happy to see the animal heroes back on screen. This is exactly what will happen soon:

Zootopia 2“ is scheduled to hit U.S. cinemas on November 26, 2025 – and will likely hit German theaters at the same time.

2026: “Frozen 3” and “Toy Story 5”

The following year will be particularly eventful, as two of Disney and Pixar’s most popular, well-known and successful franchises will continue: Both “Frozen” and “Toy Story” will continue in 2026!

However, the animation company has not yet announced specific launch dates for ‘Frozen 3’ and ‘Toy Story 5’. As is the case with the “Star Wars” movie adventure “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” also scheduled for 2026.

“Inside Out 2” and “Mufasa” will be released first

While Disney is also working on several “Star Wars” and Marvel projects at the same time, there is of course a classic Mouse House addition coming in 2024. On June 13 there will be “Everything is upside down 2“Nine years after the critically acclaimed first part, we finally get back into the mind of main character Rileywho has now reached her teenage years – and is now struggling with completely new challenges that once again provide a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Just in time for Christmas, “Mufasa: The Lion King(Theatrical release: December 19) also continues what is arguably the most iconic Disney classic of the past 50 years. The film from ‘Moonlight’ director Barry Jenkins is a sequel to the (largely animated) live-action remake from 2019, but will not function as a sequel, but rather as a prequel – and tell the backstory of the Lion King.
