Cora Schumacher caused a huge earthquake because she was the first jungle star to shout the decisive sentence in the RTL show: “I am a star – get me out of here!” On the third day, the battle for the jungle crown was over for the former racing driver. She said to Fabio for the first time in the middle of the night: “Honey, I think I want to go home.” She emphasized that she was bothered by the smoke from the campfire. The 47-year-old also commented: “I want to go home. I can’t do this anymore with the smoke, everything is burning. I can not anymore. I want to get out of here now. Now now now! Immediately!”

On the jungle phone, the candidate said, sobbing: “I am most disappointed in myself. That such a Covid infection comes my way. “It has now reached a point where I have to admit that health comes first and my dream is crumbling at this point.” Numerous speculations followed about Cora’s departure.

Dr. Bob says: “My colleagues and I examined her every day, sometimes even twice a day. In our opinion she was fit enough and there are therefore no medical reasons to leave. But the desire to leave grew in her mind.” Now she spoke clearly about her departure.

Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen were especially surprised by Cora’s voluntary departure. The presenter said on ‘The Hour After’: ‘I thought she actually did a good job.’ Zietlow emphasized that he did not see this coming, noting: ‘I wish she hadn’t necessarily talked about Ralf, that would have suited her better. Whatever’s wrong with Olli, please. But I thought that was a shame for her, because I think she gained a few fans.”

Cora cried when she made the decision to leave the show.

Now, Cora Schumacher commented on the numerous speculations going around about her departure from the show. In an interview with RTL she said: “The fire moved a bit like a storm. That means it was constantly changing direction a little bit. We always tried to swap beds, But three minutes later the fire went that way and that was actually the breaking point.”

The 47-year-old coughed repeatedly during the interview. Ultimately, she came to speculate that her stories about ex-husband Ralf Schumacher or Oliver Pocher could be the reason for her departure. Cora made it clear: “If I didn’t have a good reason and I’m also playing to win 100,000 euros, I wouldn’t even say, ‘I’m leaving now.’ I have to anticipate that. And it has nothing to do with any confidentiality agreements or that I am not allowed to say anything.”

The other jungle stars showed sympathy.

She further stated: “So, to clarify this once and for all: It doesn’t matter who or what: I can say whatever I want. Period, exclamation point, end. If I don’t talk about one or the other, it’s just out of decency and respect.”
