Often nominated, never won: these are the biggest losers in the series world

Leonardo DiCaprio is not the only one who had to wait ages for his Oscar: these 11 series were often nominated for an Emmy, but always came away empty-handed.

Winning an Emmy is the most prestigious award for a series. ‘Saturday Night Live’ has won the most Emmys to date with 84 wins, followed by ‘Game of Thrones’ (59 trophies) and ‘Fraiser’ (37 wins). This year, series such as ‘The Bear’, ‘Beef’ and ‘Succession’ won.

However, others like “Wednesday,” “The Last of Us” and “Ted Lasso” came away empty-handed. The same goes for ‘Better Call Saul’. The series has been nominated many times, but has never taken home an Emmy trophy.

Here are eleven series that have been nominated for an Emmy many times but never managed to win:

The spin-off ‘Breaking Bad’ has already been nominated for a total of 53 Emmys. They haven’t won once.
