Per year, Musicalion Panamainitiative ARIA Foundationgathers more than 50 thousand people for the celebration performance art and this year a larger audience is expected in the new environment.
For 10 years, the festival has been held in Omar Torrijos Recreation Park and will be held for the first time in Channel management stairsfrom February 1 to 4, as part of the celebration of the Canal Summer 2024.
Ricardo Velasquezpresident of the ARIA Foundation, commented that they had unforgettable moments in Parque Omar with this initiative that was born from a small dream of his wife Madelaine Leignadier and himself, but for a long time he wanted to be able to expand festival and keep growing.
With this new opportunity, the festival, which had its first edition in 2010, will be able to reach a larger audience, talents and entrepreneurs. In the last decade, it has attracted more than 2 thousand artists.
“(…) we dream of being able to get it out of Panama and this is a great step, we will grow a lot here and we hope that this is just the beginning of a new alliance with Panama CanalVelasquez said.
For the 2024 edition, a national casting was held to select the talents (musicians, dancers, etc.) that will be on stage during the four days of the festival.
Musicalion Panama will have a diverse program of activities, including musicals, concerts, symphony concertsAnd food and market.
The schedule of activities begins on February 1 with demonstrative case local sound and presentation “Rabanes, the musical”.
The concert will take place on February 2 “Between Two Oceans” where the audience will be able to enjoy the soundtrack of hits such as “The Little Mermaid”, “Moana”, “Titanic” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
On February 3, various musical genres, new and established artists will perform “Local Sound” and finally, on February 4, Symphonic Rock & Pop will present itself with a repertoire that includes songs by Queen, Taylor SwiftFito Páez, Shakira, among others, with the voices of artists such as Leonte Bordane, Allan Watson, Daniela Serrano and others.
Musicalion Panama activities will begin at 4:00 p.m., and the concerts will begin at 7:00 p.m., with Free access.
