Netflix wins bidding war for highly sought-after new series from comedy cult star, which will be back in theaters soon!

She has also appeared as a supporting actress in several film and streaming productions, including ‘A Haunting In Venice’ and ‘Only Murders In The Building’.

The series is based on the 1981 cult film of the same name by and starring Alan Alda. In it, three friendly couples from the upper class of New York go on holiday together each of the four seasons. After one of the couples breaks up during their spring trip and a much younger woman is welcomed into their midst, the couple’s friendship is severely tested.

In addition to Fey, her “30 Rock” co-stars Lang Fisher (“Never in My Life”) and Tracey Wigfield (“The Mindy Project”) also serve as writers and executive producers of the comedy series. Alan Alda, the director and lead actor of the original film, will produce the series alongside Marissa Bergman. Fey and Alda previously worked together on the series ’30 Rock’, in which Alda made several guest appearances.

Although production on the series will begin later this year, it is not yet clear when we can expect “The Four Seasons” to release on Netflix.
