Furthermore, the LG OLED G3 offers everything you would expect from a high-end television. The connections are plentiful. There are four HDMI 2.1 connections for 120 Hz signals, VRR and ALLM for maximum gaming fun with consoles and eARC for connecting a soundbar or sound system including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
The Smart TV system also works smoothly and is clearly designed. Voice commands can be given via Alexa or LG ThinQ. By the way: according to tests, the G3 sounds good for a television that is only three centimeters thick quite good. Yet you cannot ignore a soundbar or sound system. LG also has to accept the lack of a stand as a point of criticism. An ultra-flat wall bracket is included in the delivery, with which the OLED television is perfectly positioned on the wall.
LG OLED C3 as a cheap alternative
A cheap alternative to the LG OLED G3 is the LG OLED C3which is currently available at MediaMarkt for only 1,274.15 euros.

The C3 does the stripped-down version of the flagship. The biggest difference is the lack of micro lenses (MLA), which means the C3 does not shine as brightly as the G3. The G3 also has a better anti-reflective coating than the C3. Otherwise, both LG televisions are equally well equipped. The bottom line is that with the G3 you pay 250 euros more for a better image, especially in daylight.
