
The German actor will already be present on Thursday, January 4, 2024 Christian Olivier died at age 51 when a small plane crashed near the island of Petit Nevis in the Caribbean Grenadines. American industry newspapers, among others, report this, with reference to the local police. Also on board were Oliver’s daughters Madita and Annik Klepser (aged 10 and 12), who, like airline pilot Robert Sachs, were also found dead by the coast guard.
Christian Oliver, born Christian Klepser in Celle, Lower Saxony, in 1975, had his first major film roles in the 1990s, including in the TV thriller “Twilight of the Gods – Tomorrow Berlin Dies” alongside Christiane Paul. He achieved greater fame in this country, mainly through the long-running series “Alarm for Cobra 11 – The highway police“in which he became the new partner of “Cobra 11” veteran Erdoğan Atalay as Jan Richter (seen in the article photo above) in 2003 and played this role for 28 episodes.
In the years that followed, Oliver regularly commuted between Germany and the US can be seen time and time again with supporting and mini roles in Hollywood productions, including Steven Soderbergh’s “The Good German,” the Wachowskis’ over-the-top anime adaptation “Speed Racer” and the World War II thriller “Operation Valkyrie.” He even appeared in several episodes of popular American series productions such as ‘Sense8’ or ‘Hunters’.
The death of Christian Oliver, just days after he finished filming his latest project ‘Forever Hold Your Peace’, as his co-star Bai Ling announced with an emotional message on Instagram:

The revenge thriller from director Nick Lyon (“On Fire,” “Species IV”) is likely the last film in which we see Christian Oliver posthumously. However, it is not yet clear when and how it will appear.
