Although the IMDb database lists 178 errors that can be discovered in “Jurassic Park,” one very specific error has gone unnoticed for years (until a Reddit user tracked him down) – despite the fact that not only is it pretty obvious, but it also features in one of the most popular and best scenes in the entire film. We’re talking about the legendary, sweaty kitchen scene where Tim (Joseph Mazzello) and Lex (Ariana Richards) hide from two velociraptors.

A mistake that cannot be made unseen

After Tim and Lex work with Dr. After entering the main building of Jurassic Park, Grant (Sam Neill) heads back outside to meet Dr. Looking for a saddler (Laura Dern). At the same time, the two children are tracked down by velociraptors and escape to the restaurant’s kitchen. And now notice:

Nevertheless, ‘Jurassic Park’ is a masterpiece

Movies aren’t perfect, even though they often make us feel like they’re perfectly formed. But even if you pay attention to this every time you see it, it doesn’t change the quality of the milestone. On the contrary: it proves once again the escapist appeal of the dinosaur adventure – and underlines that the creators in the background are only human.

There’s probably not a movie in the big wide world that is completely flawless. The most common errors are continuity errors. For example, within a scene the length of a cigarette can change quickly or the liquid level in a glass that was just empty but is half full again the next moment. This is often because the scenes are put together in the edit, but not recorded chronologically during the filming process.
