  2. Cut the cucumbers into pieces about 2 cm wide and place them in a bowl with salt.
  3. Cover the cucumbers and let them sit in a cool place for about 24 hours, then drain.
  4. Peel the horseradish and cut it into pieces of about 1 cm.
  5. Boil vinegar, 500 ml of water, sugar, mustard, bay leaf and horseradish in a saucepan.
  6. Add cucumbers and bring everything to a boil. Let the mixture cool briefly and let it steep for about 24 hours.
  7. The next day, wash the herbs, dry them and separate them from the stems. Boil water with herbs in a large pot.
  8. Place the jars with the cucumbers in boiling water for 5 minutes and let them drain.
  9. Divide the cucumber pieces into jars with herbs.
  10. Cucumbers will last for about 1 year in the refrigerator.
