Action star in “Deadpool 3”? ‘Fast & Furious’ powerhouse makes mysterious hint

As things stand now, we can only expect one movie attributed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year: “Deadpool 3.” Here, Ryan Reynold will be seen in the titular role alongside the returning Hugh Jackman, who will reprise his signature role of Wolverine. The anticipation among comic book fans around the world is correspondingly high.

It will be a while before the Shawn Levy-directed film (“Free Guy”) hits German cinemas: the superhero fun will hit the big screen in this country on July 24, 2024. So there’s plenty of time to add fuel to the rumor mill fire about which famous face will take the honors in “Deadpool 3.” And this is where a “Fast & Furious” star has already made a start.

Through John Cena (“Freelancer”) has released a set photo from “Deadpool 3.” He didn’t say any words about it, which obviously gives fans plenty of room to speculate in the comments section. Here is the message:

What exactly that means is unclear. John Cena posted the photo himself without any context. Of course, it could indicate that the action star will also be involved in ‘Deadpool 3’. Cena, who always likes to joke, is certainly capable of simply fooling the fans, but that’s not really conceivable – the subject is simply too big for that and there is a lot of demand for it. So it remains exciting to see whether more concrete information will be available in the near future.

John Cena is one of the biggest action stars of our time. While in ‘Fast 9’ he played the villain Jakob Toretto and made life difficult for his brother Dom (Vin Diesel), in part 10 the powerhouse became part of the family. Additionally, Cena is also a DC star and has appeared in both The Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker series. Cena will remain involved in the new DC Universe led by James Gunn.
