More than 20 months have passed since the first season of ‘Reacher’ premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in February 2022. In it, “Fast & Furious 10” star Alan Ritchson would celebrate his debut as title character Jack Reacher – and as a former military police investigator, he could let his fists do the talking.
‘Reacher’ quickly became very popular, storming the Prime charts and becoming one of the biggest action highlights of last year, not only within the FILMSTARTS editorial team. Now the wait is finally over: Starting today, the first three episodes of the second season of the action series are available on Amazon Prime Video, in which Alan Ritchson has to solve another difficult case. The new episodes were based on the novel ‘Trouble’ by Lee Child. Jack Reacher wanders around the United States like a vagabond until he eventually discovers an anonymous transfer into his account. To the highly trained lone fighter it is immediately clear that the received amount of exactly $1,030 can only be a code: 10-30 means urgent help is needed.
Reacher then investigates the bail and, along with his partner Frances Neagley (Maria Sten), soon discovers that three of their former comrades are already missing – while one has even been murdered. Is there anyone hunting down the former elite military police?
