In snowy winters, 35 km of classic and skating cross-country trails run from Aeschi to Lower Obersuld. The path loops across open country from Aeschi to Seewenegg and Aeschiried. You can always admire the beautiful view of Lake Thun and Kandertal. Keep following the path and you will soon be immersed in the idyllic and fairytale-like Suldtal. Aeschi has a network of cross-country ski trails for beginners, advanced skiers and experts.

Champex Lac VS

In winter, when temperatures no longer fall below 0 degrees, the lake turns into a natural ice rink on the one hand, and a cross-country ski track on the other! In Champex-Lac, a 12 km long cross-country ski trail consisting of three stages takes you from Champex-Lac to Champex d’en-Haut and Champex d’en-Bas. The natural surroundings of the Marais de Champex make this trail special and very popular.

The network of cross-country ski runs in the Upper Engadine is the largest in Switzerland, and we can also count it among the most scenic. Whether over frozen lakes, through snow-covered forests or in dreamy side valleys, cross-country ski enthusiasts will find what they are looking for here: top quality trails, guaranteed snow, different topographies and diverse landscapes like cross-country skiing. Cross-country skiing requires conditioning because it is impossible to do everything the first time. It’s time to explore.
