On Thursday, rapper Snoop Dogg stirred up the international stoner scene. The 52-year-old said on Twitter: “I’m quitting smoking.” A clear message for many: Snoop Dogg wants to stop smoking weed. The musician continued that he had decided to do so after careful consideration and consultation with his family. And it caused incredulous reactions on social media.
But just four days later it is clear: Snoop Dogg, who even employs a professional ‘blunt roller’, will not commit himself to his joints in the future. In another post on X (formerly Twitter), the rapper revealed that it was a PR stunt.
I’m done with smoke. I’m going smokeless @SoloStove. #advertisement pic.twitter.com/RwF8wnk1wp

The sentence “I quit smoking” does not mean “I quit smoking” as assumed, but literally “I quit smoking”. Shortly afterwards, Snoop Dogg is seen at a smoke-free fireplace, the manufacturer of which the musician is advertising.
Bro made the stoners of the world question their life choices for this ad 😂
