The organization of this international competition has given details about what the process of selecting the winner will be.

At this occasion, Miss Universe announced how the selection procedure for the 72nd edition will be carried out. First, 20 semi-finalists will be chosen.

The jury will then choose 10 candidates who will be able to model evening dresses.
