The Pic-Nic Centroamérica Festival, which will take place in Costa Rica on February 10 and 17, will bring together famous Latin American singers such as Residente, Manuel Turizo, Bizarrap and J Balvin, along with other international representatives such as Shaggy and Whiz Khalifa.
The event to be held at the Pedregal Events Center, about 15 kilometers west of San José, it seeks to establish itself as “the festival of Central America, the festival of our region,” event producer Adrián Gutiérrez said at a press conference.
The producer stated that “we have one of the the topset up‘ (list of artists) who will be in Latin America next year” and it shows the growth the event has had in recent years.
The festival will combine genres such as rap, reggaeton, rootselectronic music, ska, ranchera music and even romantic music.
For February 10, the list of artists heads Residentalong with other artists such as Arcangel, Bizarrap, Manuel Turizo, Nicki Nicole, Julieta Venegas and Los Cafres, as well as Shaggy, Whiz Khalifa, Tokischa and Steel Pulse.
The second day of concerts will take place on February 17 with the participation of artists such as J Balvin, Alejandro Fernández, Myke Towers, Los Autenticos Decadentes, David Bisbal, Los Pericos, Paul Van Dyk, León Lerregui and Rawayana, among others.
A total of around 60 domestic and foreign artists will perform during the festival.
Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, November 15th, with ticket prices starting at around $110.
