Real cinema feeling at home: Find the right projector for every purpose on Black Friday

Real cinema feeling at home: Find the right projector for every purpose on Black Friday

This year, prices will drop again on Black Friday. The big sale takes place on November 24, but many stores have great offers for you before then. So it is worth looking for good projectors now. We have limited ourselves to the three main types: Ceiling projectors, ultra-short throw projectors (UKD) and mini projectors en route.

Acer’s Amazon bestseller: clear and with 240 Hz

If you’re looking for a bright ceiling-mount projector, this is what you’re looking for AcerH6185BD well advised. It is not without reason that the projector is one of the bestsellers on Amazon.

For well under 900 euros you get rich clarity 4,000 ANSI lumens. There are few models in this price range that have more to offer. This allows you to enjoy films or sports broadcasts without any problems, even in slightly darkened rooms. The Acer projector also scores points with its natural colors.

The projector shows weaknesses in the black value, which is more dark gray than true black. Moreover, despite the name, it is not a true 4K projector. Instead, the Acer sits down Pixel shift and displays the image sharper than a full HD projector. However, the difference will only be noticeable with a direct comparison.

An alternative to the Acer projector is the Epson EH-TW6250*which at 2,800 lumens is not as bright as the Acer, but it is integrated Smart TV function via the included WiFi stick with Android TV. The Epson is slightly more expensive than the Acer, but still a real price-performance tip.

Ultra-short throw: Hisense’s price-performance king

If the projector is not hung from the ceiling but is placed directly in front of the screen, an ultra-short-throw projector is the right choice. Hisense offers the best value for money here. Our recommendation is this Hisense PL1 laser cinema.

The PL1 projects an image up to three meters on the screen and, with approximately 2,100 ANSI lumens, is bright enough for high-quality movie enjoyment in dark rooms. The support of the HDR format also contributes to this Dolby Vision bee. Overall, the Hisense UKD projector offers a very good image and is also easy to set up.

In addition, the PL1 Laser Cinema impresses with its extensive functionalities including integrated Smart TV system and a thoroughly usable sound that even supports Dolby Atmos. However, you do not get real 4K here, but “only” 4K via pixel shift.

Mini projector for on the road: 130 inches for less than 100 euros?

Mini projectors are a dime a dozen. The best-selling model on Amazon is the Magcubic for just under 100 euros, which you can currently get cheaper with a voucher for 10 euros. If the projector is no longer available, you can also contact us LQWELL projector* grab, which is identical to the Magiccubic.

But don’t be fooled by the item description: the mini projector can do neither 4K nor Full HD, but only HD-Ready (1,280×720). It has automatic keystone correction and pre-installed apps such as YouTube and Netflix, which even work via WiFi. Alternatively, a streaming stick can also be connected.

You obviously don’t get premium quality for the price, that should be clear to you. But the mini projector makes a solid impression and can even be used Photo on the ceiling project. A maximum of 130 inches is possible, but not recommended due to the low light output of a maximum of 200 ANSI lumens.

If you are looking for more quality, you will find it here Samsung The freestyle* an alternative to cheap projectors. It offers a very good Full HD image and, thanks to the Tizen operating system, supports the HDR formats HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+ and all common streaming apps. These features make the Samsung projector a real all-rounder for on the go, even if it doesn’t shine as brightly as the competition with around 320 ANSI lumens.
