Just on the big screen, now on Netflix: David Fincher’s ice-cold thriller ‘The Killer’ comes to the streaming giant on November 10 after an all-too-brief guest appearance in cinemas. And even if the cinephile’s heart bleeds a little at this time-limited cinema exclusive, this is of course a reason to celebrate for everyone who enjoys the meticulously staged graphic novel adaptation (loosely based on “Le Tueur” ) that lists annually, but prefers to enjoy films at home in the living room. And the joy is justified, as David Fincher delivers an excellent Netflix original in which fans of tougher film awards can look forward to the best action scene of the year.

In our FILMSTARTS review, author Björn Becher gives it 4.5 out of 5 stars and says:
Saturday: Sci-Fi with Hugh Jackman
In “Memory: Memory never dies“Science fiction meets film noir. Hugh Jackman has to keep his head above water as ghost detective Nick Bannister, but the case surrounding his new client Mae (Rebecca Ferguson) pushes him to his limits. Even though director Lisa Joy’s film has major flaws, it still scores points with beautiful sets and a harmonious acting duo.
Sunday: Rest Day on Netflix
And at the end of the week, not much happens with the red “N”. This way you can mentally prepare for next week’s treats. For example on ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ or the new season of ‘The Crown’.
