One of the most exciting science fiction projects of the coming years: the series ‘Fallout’ will soon start on Amazon Prime Video

Fans are already excitedly looking forward to next year when the ‘Fallout’ series will finally be released on Amazon Prime Video. Although a first teaser was already shown at this year’s Gamescom, only the launch year of 2024 was announced as a release period. Now this date has finally been confirmed and Amazon Prime Video has revealed when we will enter the nuclear post-apocalypse.

The first “Fallout” episode should be available on the streaming giant as early as April 12, 2024. The series, which is based on the video game series ‘Fallout’, is highly anticipated by fans – the crazy storylines, the sometimes quite cynical humor and the extremely lively (for a post-apocalypse) world of the RPG are elements that Lovers of the series hope to find their way into implementation. As early as spring 2024, “Fallout” gamers will be able to see for themselves just how successful the sci-fi role-playing game adaptation has really been.

Here we have included the tweet announcing the start date of “Fallout”. And beware: the American spelling of the date can cause confusion.

This is “Fallout”

“Fallout” is based on a long-running RPG video game series that puts the player in the role of a survivor of a nuclear apocalypse. Not only do you have to master the dangers of the nuclear-tainted world – flora and fauna are out to get you here – you must also upgrade yourself with new equipment and skills that will help you survive. The ‘Fallout’ series has existed since 1997. The last solo adventure in the series was released in 2015 and sold more than twelve million copies on the day of release.

However, the spin-off of the series is not intended to be based on one of the main storylines of the game series, but rather tells a new story in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles.

The cast includes Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”), Tarantino buddy Walton Goggins (“The Hateful 8”) and “Twin Peaks” lead actor Kyle MacLachlan. In addition, the successful ‘Westworld’ duo Jonathan ‘Jonah’ Nolan and his wife Lisa Joy were brought in for the film adaptation. Both will produce ‘Fallout’ and are also responsible for the scripts.
