Without a doubt, ‘The Boys’ is one of the best and most popular shows in the Amazon catalog. In addition to the animated anthology series ‘The Boys: Diabolical’, ‘The Boys: Gen V’ also premiered in September 2023 and is seen as a kind of season 3.5 that bridges the wait for the new episodes of the main series – and with great success!

Not only are the critics enthusiastic about the series, ‘Gen V’ is also very well received by ‘The Boys’ fans. This has now motivated Amazon to expand the spin-off with a second season – more than two weeks before the finale of the first season can be seen on Prime Video on November 3 with episode 8 (“The Guardians Of Godolkin”).
So fans can look forward to returning to Godolkin University, which is funded by the corrupt mega-corporation, in the coming years (probably 2025). Here, students are trained to become the next generation of heroes – and often with quite lucrative support. This also determines whether the students ultimately become heroes or villains in their own story.
