“Star Wars” deal on Amazon: The legendary Millennium Falcon is a top bargain for Prime Day

Amazon has once again launched a bargain festival: the corporate giant is celebrating the second Prime Day in 2023 and is therefore once again causing prices to plummet in many product categories. As expected, this means a lot of deals on technology such as laser projectors or 4K televisions, but for home cinema it may not always be useful.

On Prime Big Deal Days, there’s actually a pile of scrap metal as the top deal – to be precise, the most famous and fastest pile of scrap ever to fly through the “Star Wars” cosmos: As a Prime Day deal, the Millennium Falcon is available as a detailed model of Bandai’s legendary Perfect Grade series for only 179.99 euros instead of the recommended retail price of 475 euros!

No matter how many characters have described this round spaceship as a pile of junk, it has captured the hearts of several generations of film fans and is therefore somehow indispensable in any well-maintained “Star Wars.” collection.

This 680-piece Millennium Falcon kit is based on the original studio model used for the flight scenes in the original “Star Wars” installment and is supplied in scale 1:72. In other words: the model has a length of 48.2 cm!

The kit includes a special LED unit to illuminate the engines, landing gear, cockpit and loading ramp, and also includes figures of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi and C-3PO, who can be placed in, for example, the cockpit to give the model more character. A suitable display stand for the Falcon is also included in the scope of delivery.

Even more nerdy Prime Day deals

If you’re itching to build but are intimidated by the realistic build style of Bandai models, as part of Prime Big Deal Days, numerous LEGO sets with and without pop culture references have also dropped in price. For your inner game child and cozy evenings, we have already presented you with top offers from the board game and game categories!

Important to know: All these bargains only apply if you have a Prime subscription – if you don’t have one yet, you can easily get one 30 day trial period* start (and cancel if necessary before it is automatically renewed). Regardless of whether you take out a trial subscription for Prime Day or already have Prime: the second Prime Day 2023 ends today, October 11 – and with it the numerous promotional prices also expire.
