Canadian star rapper Drake has announced a career break due to health reasons. The 36-year-old rapper said on the radio program ‘Table For One’ on Friday that he would take a break of ‘a year or more’ to ‘get back on his feet’.
It’s “nothing serious,” but he’s had “all kinds of weird stomach problems” for years and now wants to take care of his health.
Drake went on to say that he wouldn’t be making music “for a while,” and also talked about commitments he wanted to keep to people “I promised things to.”
Five-time Grammy Award-winning Drake announced his career hiatus after releasing his new album ‘For All The Dogs’. It was initially unclear whether the timeout would also have consequences for already planned concerts. (sda/afp)
