Bob Dylan returns to his 1978 Japanese tour in the album

Twelve years passed between Bob Dylan’s last international tour and the one in 1978 that took him to numerous countries outside the United States, including Japan, concerts that were recorded and are now being restored by Sony Music under the title “Complete Budokan 1978” with numerous unreleased songs.

Since that event which included a historic 11 appearances in his first concerts in the land of the rising sun.

Eight of them were held at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, and two of them were recorded from February 28 and March 1, which served as the basis for the release of the 22-performance album “Bob Dylan at Budokan” that same year.

For the first time with Dylan’s complete performances, It will be on November 17 when the new edition remastered from the original 24-channel multitrack tapes sees the light and which, in its most luxurious edition, will come as 4CD, with a total of 58 tracks, 36 of which have never been released before.
