“Sunday and Fog” opened the Icaro Film Festival

with tape “Sunday and fog” Ariel Escalante opened Icaro Panama Film Festival 2023, specialized in Central American cinema.

This event will last until October 13, where audiences in the provinces of Panama, Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro will be introduced to the latest films from the region.

While filmmakers on the terrace will receive valuable training with excellent teachers and experts.

The headquarters of this festival will be in the capital University cinema.

The festival opened at 19:30 with the Costa Rican film “Domingo y la Niebla” by Ariel Escalante.

“Sunday and Fog” is a story repeated in many of our countries, when unscrupulous businessmen, in conjunction with corrupt officials, use threats and crime against residents to drive them off their properties and build their projects.

The film will continue in this room until Saturday, the 7th 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00with short and feature films, in feature, documentary, animated and experimental genres.

In this 16th edition of the festival, the three provincial halls will have 10 projection spaces for the 19 films that make up the program, as well as 7 training activities that will be developed by international guests and recognized Panamanian talents.
