Mariah Carey is bringing back her “Christmas extravaganza” this 2023 with “Merry Christmas One and All,” a tour dedicated to this celebration that will visit 13 cities in North America.
“Christmas is just around the corner and you are officially invited to celebrate it season with the return of my Christmas extravaganza,” reads a post published on his Instagram profile.
Carey will start his show in Highland (California) and then, among other cities, he will visit Los Angeles, Denver (Colorado), Kansas City (Missouri), Toronto and Montreal (Canada), finally culminating in his performance on December 17 in New York.
Carey became the uncrowned queen Christmas thanks to the popularity of the song “All I Want for Christmas”, which he released in 1994 and which has since become a Christmas anthem that has brought him countless hits.
In 2022, the song became the song that is the most reproductions gained 21.273 million streams in one day on Spotify’s global chart and remained at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 weeks.
In the past, the composer of “Fantazije” performed. thematic plays Christmas performances like “All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity,” a residency he did during the winter season of 2014-2017 at the Beacon Theater in New York, which he later took to France and England.
He also did a Christmas special for Apple TV+ called “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” in which he introduced songs like “Oh Santa!” with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson or “Here Comes Santa Claus” with Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri.
